I have been around dogs and dog shows all of my life. My parents imported, bred and exhibited a beautiful line of Golden Retrievers in the Mid-West in the 1950’s. Growing up in the 50’s, I thought my parents Goldens were meant to be pillows for kids.
We got our first sheltie “Beau” in 1971, he came to stay with us for over 17 years and traveled around the world as part of our military family. He was a great ambassador for the breed and the one that made us sure this was the breed for us. He taught our son to walk, and always knew when our daughter needed a best friend to be at her side. He was the watchdog that gave me peace of mind when Robert worked all hours and shifts.

Lady Sandia’s Beau “Beau” the best friend to our children and us as we grew up and moved around the world! He will own our hearts forever!
Dublin Hill Autum Holiday CD “Britches” by Ch Dorlane’s Scalawag x Chipperdel Holiday Spirit. She was the dog that brought us back to dog shows and introduced us to a wonderful friend and mentor Ellen Russell of Dublin Hill Collies & Shelties.
Can Ch Dublin Hill North To Alaska “BJ” by Ch Jade Mist A Case In Point x Lanbur Petula Clark. The dog that my Father just adored, even though he was not a golden. He was a wonderful dog but did not like to show. He became the loved companion of my daughter’s family and truly enjoyed the Alaskan life of hunting and fishing with his family.
BeBoni Wonderous Widget CD “Widget” by Kismet Ride the Wind x BeBoni x BeBoni Dear Abby. A wonderful gift from good friends Shirley and Paul Boniface (BeBoni Shelties). She was one that did it her own way!
Peggin Ain’t No Cheechako CD “ Cheechako” Cheechako lost her battle to cancer in March, 2006.
